A Systematic Approach to Attain Your Goals

Designing and building a stock trading system using technical analysis requires a systematic and disciplined plan.

First, we'll help you define clear and specific trading objectives. These objectives should outline your risk tolerance, desired return on investment, and the time frame for holding positions. With these objectives in mind, we can then work with you to identify and research both indicators and trading systems that align with you trading goals.

Testing The System

Once we've selected the technical indicators or trading system, the next step is to create the system using the Expert Design Studio. Initial testing will involve validating that the code matches your system requirements.  Once we are satisfied with the code, we will conduct extensive backtesting. This allows us to gain insights into the system's strengths and weaknesses, identify potential pitfalls, and refine the strategy accordingly. It's crucial to avoid over-optimizing the system based on past data, as this could lead to curve-fitting and reduced effectiveness in  trading.

Running the system through Portfolio Simulation

After successful backtesting, we will run the system through the Portfolio Simulator, to add in risk management strategies, and capitalization rules. This allows us to get as close as possible to real-life trading with the system.  This includes evaluating the exit strategy conditions to improve and adjust the system to enhance its potential for long-term success.
